Cancellation and refund policy

Effective November 6, 2026

Your spot on a trip is reserved with a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.
The rest of the trip price (your second payment) is due 45 days before departure. If it is not paid within 48 hours of our reminder, your booking is cancelled and the deposit is kept.
Changed your mind right away? You can cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund.

More than 45 days before departure: anything you have paid beyond the deposit is refunded in full. The deposit is kept, or you can move it once to another trip departing within 12 months, subject to availability.
45 days or less before departure: nothing is refunded. Your second payment is due at this point and, once paid, it is non-refundable.
To cancel, email hello@yourfriendsareboring.com. The cancellation counts from the day we receive it.
Arriving late, leaving early or not using part of the trip does not give right to a refund.

A trip runs once it reaches its minimum group. We confirm it, or cancel it, at the latest 60 days before departure.
If we cancel, you choose: a full refund of everything you have paid, or moving your deposit to another trip.
Please do not book flights until your trip is confirmed. We are not responsible for flights or other travel costs you book on your own.

If you cannot travel because of a serious illness or injury (with a doctor's note) or the death of an immediate family member, we will move your deposit to a trip departing within 12 months. These exceptions are at our discretion.
